"Raab's Poker Night": These three stars gamble with Stefan Raab
Stefan Raab is reviving his poker game. These celebrities are sitting at the table with him.
Three celebrities will gamble with Stefan Raab (58) in the first Poker Night episode on Thursday (February 27). As RTL revealed the day before , they are the 2021 "Let's Dance" winner Rúrik Gíslason (37), actor Ralf Möller (66) and presenter Laura Karasek (42).
The show "Raab's Poker Night with GGPoker.de" brings the popular card game back to the screen after almost ten years (10:35 p.m. RTL and RTL+). In addition to the celebrities, a wildcard winner who earned his place in qualifying tournaments on "GGPoker.de" can also try his luck. Raab's loyal sidekick Elton (53) is also in the game.
The players gamble at the poker table for prize money of 100,000 euros. The evening will be hosted by Laura Wontorra (36). Poker expert Michael Körner (56) will be the commentator. The game will be the popular variant "Texas Hold'em". As the broadcaster had previously announced, six episodes of the poker show are planned this year.
Last Poker Night 2016 with EltonBetween 2006 and his retirement in 2015, Stefan Raab hosted a total of 45 such tournaments on ProSieben as part of "TV total" special broadcasts, all based on a similar concept. Elton ran the format again in 2016 without Raab. Since then, there has been no further episode of Poker Night.
Raab is already back on RTL with "Du gewinnst hier nicht die Million", which airs there on Wednesdays at prime time. He is also looking for the German entry for the music competition in May in the show "Chefsache ESC 2025 - Wer singt für Deutschland?" The decision show will be broadcast live from Cologne on 1 March on Das Erste after three RTL preliminary rounds.
